KD hospital offers the following DNB/DrNB qualification awarded by the National Board of Examinations.
DNB Emergency Medicine is a graduate program of 3 years post MBBS with an accreditation from National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS). Students can apply for the seat via centralized based counselling after qualifying and securing the necessary rank in NEET PG exam.
Emergency Medicine is an inter-disciplinary specialty, unique as it
includes all pre-hospital and in-hospital resuscitation and management of
undifferentiated urgent and emergency cases and further encompasses an
understanding of the development of emergency medical systems and the
skills necessary for this development.
At KD Hospital, we run this Emergency medicine program in which we train the
students for the necessary skills required to deliver a highly efficient and
good quality of emergency care which will reduce waiting times for
patients in Emergency Departments . This training will also broadens
their system-based core knowledge skill and attitude to diagnose and
manage a wide range of clinical problems in Emergency Medicine as
seen in the community or in secondary/tertiary care setting in an effective
manner.

DrNB Critical Care medicine is a doctoral level Super Specialty
programme administered by the NBEMS at its accredited institutions.
The duration of the course for Post MD/MS/DNB candidates is for 3
years.
Critical care medicine encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of a wide
variety of clinical problems representing the extreme of human disease.
The critical care specialist may be the primary provider of care or a
consultant. The intensivist needs to be competent not only in a broad
range of conditions common among critically ill patients but also with the
technological procedures and devices used in intensive care settings. The
care of critically ill patients also raises many complicated ethical and
social issues, and the intensivist must be competent in areas such as end-
of-life decisions, advance directives, estimating prognosis, and
counseling of patients and their families.
At KD Hospital, we run this Critical Care medicine program in which we train the
students for resuscitation ,clinical diagnosis , making in the management
of critically sick medical and surgical patients.

• All the applicants must have an eligible NEET PG exam score.
• Applicants must have completed medical graduation degree from an NMC
recognized institute of India.
• Medical registration/ license with NMC/ MCI is mandatory.
• Candidates from outside India, should have a valid medical registration with
National Medical Commission (NMC).
• The admission is done as per the Central Admission process by National
Examination Board (NBE), based on NEET PG entrance exam merit list.
• The NBE will publish the seat matrix, online application dates & deadlines and
allotment schedule on its official website, specially for different admission
rounds for all the broad specialty (Post MBBS DNB courses through out India).
• After online seats are allotted, the candidates need to report with required
documents at their allotted institute within a given time frame, failing which the
allotted seat will be deemed null & void and it will be fill in next allotment round.
